Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old and the parent or legal guardian of any child for whom you set up the Service. By using the Service you confirm that you meet these requirements and that you consent, on the child's behalf, to the collection and use of the child's data as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for supervising your child's use of the Service.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Tell us promptly at hello@autipal.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for the personal, non-commercial benefit of your family. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or misuse the Service or its content except as allowed by law.

Autipal offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions (“Premium”). Pricing and billing period are shown before you purchase. When you subscribe through the iOS app, payment is charged to your Apple ID; when you subscribe on the web, payment is processed by Stripe.

• Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription any time in your Apple ID settings (for in-app purchases) or via your account (for web purchases). Cancelling stops future renewals; the current period runs to its end.
• Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its policies; web purchase refunds are handled under our support process.
• Free features remain available without a subscription.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• break the law or infringe others' rights;
• upload content you do not have the right to use, or that is harmful or abusive;
• disrupt, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service;
• use the Service to build a competing product or to train AI models.

You keep ownership of the content you create or upload (tiles, boards, photos, stories, journals, goals). You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you (including sending the minimum necessary content to the AI processors described in the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for the content you provide and confirm you have the rights to it.

Some features generate content using AI. AI output can be imperfect or unexpected; you are responsible for reviewing generated pictures, stories, or answers before relying on them, especially anything shown to a child. AI features are provided “as is” and are not a substitute for professional judgement.

Autipal is a supportive and educational tool. It is not a medical deviceand does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Screening tools such as the M-CHAT-R indicate likelihood only and are not a diagnosis. Content from clinicians is general guidance, not a substitute for evaluation or care from a qualified professional. Always seek the advice of your physician or a qualified provider about your child. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.

The Service, including its software, design, and Autipal-created content, is owned by Smahi Inc. and protected by intellectual-property laws. The M-CHAT-R™ is © 2009 Robins, Fein, & Barton and is used under its terms. Third-party names are the property of their respective owners.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Smahi Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold Smahi Inc. harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory local consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and update the effective date; for material changes we will provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
